Um... Takeba-san, are you there? [he worries a little if she remembers him, but he can try.]
((hi...! not sure if you still wanna do gen stuff w/ these two but if you do...! and today is 3/19 ingame but if some other day is better that's fine :3))
Ah... I was wondering if I could ask you for advice on something. I know we're supposed to work here, but... I don't... know how to go about doing that...
[ Okay. That's good. Well, not that he's embarrassed or anything, but that it's just a normal question like that. ]
Honestly, I've been going to the school here instead of working, so I don't know most of the places that are really hiring. But I guess the first thing you'd want to do is look around and see if there's any shops that sell things that you like, and ask them if their hiring. The places near the apartments should be the ones that are more eager to hire newcomers though.
I mean, if they are hiring you'll probably have to fill out an application and interview with the manager or owner, but that's pretty much all there is to it.
You... that depends. I think the cut off for being paid to go to high-school here is eighteen, but I've yet to find out if there's any grants or anything for the university level courses and stuff like that.
[ Yukari's not really sure what to think when she gets that message, but at least Ryoji's back to normal. She can still remember how it was like to be with him that last time. When he was transformed like that, but she needs to remember that it's not his fault. Even if part of her still wants to flinch just thinking about it. ]
So just try to stop worrying about it. That storm does some creepy things to people. We're lucky that you didn't turn into some... mindless tentacle thing.
Don't mention it, Ryoji.[ She knows that this probably isn't something that she should do this soon, when she's not sure how she feels, but well... it wasn't his fault. And maybe this could help both of them. ]
Do you want to go hang out in a couple of days or so? Just... you know, spend some time together and talk a bit.
[ it's been some hours since his conversation with minato, and while most of it's been carefully shelved away for later, there's one thing that repeats itself over and over in his mind.
'her arisato is a girl.'
ignoring the rather awkward mental picture he'd been left with after hearing that, shinjiro's found himself entrenched in the possibilites of an alternate universe as it directly affects him. such a thing doesn't seem possible - aki's never believed in the supernatural and shinjiro doesn't really either - but yukari had known him and not minato, and there's a mystery there that he desperately wants to try to figure out.
so. a chunk of time taken out of his afternoon in order to give yukari a call. ]
Hey.
[ no introduction, no mention of who it is. he figures she doesn't need it - his voice is familiar to her by now, and this mental broadcast thing's got the name attached to everything anyway. ]
[ Yukari's a bit surprised that Shinjiro was the one who decided to send her a call through the chip. After their meeting, and from what she knew about him, she figured that she was going to have to be the one to poke him.
And well, talking to him was definitely better than doing the school's homework in Ariel. So she goes ahead and answers it almost immediately. ]
Hey Senpai. I'm not all that busy at all. How are you?
[ it is pretty unusual for him to make the first move, but there are rare instances when he's not afraid to push for something he wants. usually they center around aki and keeping him in one piece, but today he's got minato at the forefront. ]
Alright.
[ hopefully she's not expecting any type of answer other than that. he should probably return the question, make sure yukari's doing alright, but small talk's never been a strength of his and this is important. so he blunders on, without any sort of segue or preamble. ]
[ Nope. She totally wasn't expecting much more than that. It might've been a few months since she last saw him back home, but she still remembers that enough.
But it's is question that causes her to freeze for a bit. But that sure answered one question that she had been wondering about ever since she had met Minato. It would've been too easy to just think that he was the odd one out here, but she sighs. ]
... I was wondering how I was going to bring that up with you and everyone else. [ At least he's out of the way now. That just leaves Aigis and Ryoji... ]
[ in truth, it's not something shinjiro had ever expected he'd need to mention. he's not a particularly complicated person, and while there's a lot of things he challenges and questions, the very existence of their leader's never been one of those things.
minato's told him a little bit, but he wants to hear it from yukari and see what she has to say. ]
But you knew a girl Arisato. [ it's a statement, not a question. ] Could she use multiple Personas too?
Yeah. She could. [ And well, Yukari's not really sure how either of the Arisatos could actually do that. But that's not all that important, at least for what they're talking about now. ]
But other than the name and multiple Personas, Minato seems like he's completely different from the Arisato that I knew. Both in looks and personality. I mean, I could be wrong, but somehow I don't think the word 'bubbly' can really be used to describe him.
[ yeah, he'd have to agree that 'bubly' would be high on his list of descriptors for minato - or even on the list at all. it destroys the vague mental image he's built in his head for this faceless other arisato, and makes him wonder just how much else is different. after all, personality dictates action, doesn't it?
maybe it's best to start with the basics, then. he doesn't know near enough about what had happened in SEES before his arrival, but the very infrastructure of the group should still be the same. ]
Who's still part of SEES with you? [ aki and mitsuru are a given, because there's no SEES without them, she'd mentioned junpei, knew aigis and him....that leaves: ] Are Amada and Koromaru there?
[ It doesn't take Yukari much time at all to realize just why he's asking her these questions, since, well, if their leader was different it wasn't like other things couldn't be different too.
But at the same time, him just asking about Ken and Koromaru is a bit of a relief. Because that meant that despite one major, obvious change, that there was a good chance that things were still pretty similar. ]
Yeah. Both of them are. [ She pauses, realizing that there's one other person he didn't ask about that isn't necessarily an obvious one. ] Is Fuuka also part of your SEES?
[ God, even knowing that there were at least two different versions of the world that was still weird to say. ]

[ OOC: 3/20 might work a little bit better, since she's doing things with Mikado on the 19th and also going to the beach, so she's pretty busy then. ]
works for me :>

It's okay. That wasn't your fault...

I'm still sorry. You can punch me or something if it would help?

I mean, if it was, you wouldn't be apologizing to me, would you?
